Most kitchens in Springfield will adjust a dish for common dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: bars open late and cafes close early. Happy-hour pizza deals are common at bars across Illinois on weekday afternoons, and many casual restaurants take reservations online through third-party platforms while fast-food spots are walk-in only.

Springfield is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Visiting from Decatur for an appointment. Wanted a unique place for our Anniversary dinner. Put it this way, we WILL be back. Best Mac & Cheese from any restaurant and I have tried dozens. The Tater Skins were delicious! My wife said it was the most tender pot roast she's had in years and the gravy was one of the best seasoned one she's had. The portions are HUGE!

Food was excellent. Pork tenderloin pony shoe was great! 3% charge for credit cards which is fine-just an FYI

MANY ARE SAYING THIS IS THE WORST DUBLIN PUB IN SPRINGFIELD. THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG AND PUT MY BACON ON MY PLATE WITH FRIES, NOT EVEN MY BURGER! INSTEAD OF REGULAR FRIES THEY GAVE ME SWEET POTATO FRIES! NO ONE LIKES SWEET POTATO FRIES! MANY ARE SAYING THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD IN A RESTAURANT!

Friendly local pub. Been there several times. Rubens are perfect, had ruben pizza once, that was tasty! Salads are great! Good menu, not trying to do too many different items (I run when I see a 5 or 6 page menu). Hubby loves the beer selection. Our waiter was new but did a great job! Sat on the patio π. I wish I would have taken a picture of the ruben before I ate half of it! This picture does not do it justice.

A wonderful pub with a good variety of drinks and food! I visited during their Shepherd's Pie special day. It was very tasty and a good size for just a single serving. I also ordered the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake. It was so delicious! I good mix of cheesecake and Cobbler that wasn't too strong in either direction. Would recommend either, both very tasty!
